Rush Cooking….

Aunts from my Mommy’s side are here. They came from Incheon and are just taking a breather from their “vacation” before going back to Manila. 😳 (huh?!)…. Hahaha!! So we were able to set a late lunch date with their niece, my cousin, Danda. We were all in a hurry to prepare when I realized, my hubby will be left here because he’s on standby. While I was dressing up, I thought of what to prepare for him…. for his lunch.

As soon as I finished dressing up, I started to prepare my Mommy’s Picadillo Soup. This recipe that I found is nearest to my Mom’s. 😉 … Since I was in a hurry, I didn’t have time to mince some garlic and onions, so I used the ginisa mix of Mamasita’s. 😊 And since this is a soup, it has more water. I just added a beef cube to add more beef flavor to the soup. 😉😘

And because I was in a rush and everybody’s waiting for me to finish, I wasn’t able to take a photo of it. 😬

We went to our favorite Chicken Rice place along East Coast Rd for late lunch, Five Star Hainanese Chicken Rice. It was soooo good, we were able to finish everything and we even had to order again for Danda because she was a bit late because her Uber ride took so long to pick her up. 😬 It was good, in a way, because it gave us more time to talk about a lot of things. 😜 It’s really nice to have them here even if it’s only for a short time. 😍

Back home, Hubby told me his feedback regarding the soup…. It was 👍🏻😄. Yehey!! 😊
